Why Peacock for Industrial Flooring
Industrial environments destroy commercial-grade flooring. Forklifts, pallet jacks, dropped tools, chemical spills, and constant heavy traffic call for materials that were engineered for the abuse. We see facilities every year that installed the wrong product two or three years ago and now need it pulled out and redone.
Peacock Floors specs and installs industrial sheet vinyl, epoxy floor systems, commercial LVP, VCT, and concrete coatings across San Francisco — including projects at SFO and other large industrial facilities throughout the Bay Area. We work in active warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturing floors, mechanical rooms, and back-of-house industrial spaces. Our local warehouse means materials are on site fast, and our crews are used to working around active operations.
For most industrial projects, we run after hours, weekends, or in phased sections so production stays on schedule. We coordinate directly with your facilities or operations lead to keep aisles open, equipment moving, and downtime measured in hours instead of days.
Industrial Sheet Vinyl
Chemical-resistant, heavy-traffic rated, welded seams.
Epoxy Floor Systems
Seamless, high-gloss, extremely durable. Long service life under heavy use.

VCT
Vinyl Composition Tile. Cost-effective, easy to maintain, classic spec.
Concrete Coatings
Protect and seal existing concrete. Faster than full replacement.
Warehouse Line Striping

What flooring options work best for warehouse and industrial spaces?
For warehouse picking and aisle areas we typically specify high-performance vinyl, sealed concrete with a topcoat, or heavy-duty rubber depending on forklift load and chemistry exposure. For mezzanines and offices inside the facility we move to LVT or carpet tile.
Can you install during a single-shift shutdown window?
Yes. We routinely phase industrial work around production schedules, including weekend shutdowns and second-shift installs. We confirm cure times for adhesives and topcoats up front so the operator knows exactly when forklifts can return.
Do you do moisture testing and substrate prep?
Standard scope. We run relative-humidity probes per ASTM F2170, document results, shotblast or grind as needed, patch and skim, and install a moisture mitigation system when the slab requires it. Substrate prep on industrial slabs is where most failures originate, so we don't shortcut it.
Do you handle line striping and safety markings?
Yes, in coordination with the resilient or resin floor system. We can hot-weld accent strips into vinyl, embed inlays, or coordinate with painters for OSHA-spec aisle and hazard striping on coated concrete.
Are you set up for prevailing-wage industrial work?
Yes. Our crews work prevailing-wage scopes on public, port, transit, and federal facilities in San Francisco and the Bay Area, with certified payroll provided through the project's reporting platform.
